How does it work?

Ibotta is basically a digital rebate app. Through the app, you can view offers at various stores. For example, yesterday Walmart had an offer of $1.50 off 2 boxes of Hefty slider bags, 10 count or more. First, I clicked on the offer in the app to add it my account. Then, after purchasing them, I go back to the app to scan in my receipt. [Sometimes, you may have to scan the barcodes of the products as well.] A nice feature is that you can scan the barcodes in the store to see if that particular product meets the criteria for that offer.

24 – 48 hours later, the rebate is deposited into my Ibotta account. After I have $20 in my account, I can withdraw it.

Yesterday, I got rebates for a probiotic, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, and the slider bags – a total of $9.25. Plus, I completed the December bonus, so I received an additional $2. Pretty sweet!
